All of the following work samples come from my previous employer, Luxury Brand Holdings/ Ross-Simons. I worked there from June 2019 to November 2022.
Catalog Headlines
Here are some of the best headlines from my fifteen publications as a catalog copywriter. These examples are especially great because met the objective of the catalog within the tight space I was given to work with.

bravo, bracelets! essentials worthy of encore — This headline was in a best sellers catalog. I saw the opportunity of it being an all-bracelets product page and ran with it! Note the alliteration here — it’s my favorite literary tool.

fall of fame | pile on these styles — This headline is in a fall season best sellers catalog. I was toying around the with the idea of “hall of fame” when I saw the opportunity to use “fall” instead. “Pile on” is also a play on raking leaves, a quintessential fall activity.

wallet-friendly wanderlust | savings from around the world — This headline is from a savings catalog. The theme was all about getting a well-traveled experience via jewelry, not from actually taking expensive vacations. Alliteration saved the day again here!

top-rated twinkle — This front cover headline is from a Christmas/holiday best sellers catalog. “Top-rated” and “twinkle” are truly a match made in (alliteration) heaven.

ahoy, savings! make a splash with sea-inspired jewelry — This headline is from a savings book. This nautical-themed page was fun to work on, using words like “ahoy” and “splash” to really make it all come together.
Amazon Copy
I wrote consumer friendly copy for Ross-Simons Amazon descriptions. The company previously used a third-party company that produced lackluster copy. I created the bullet format and edited copy for each jewelry item. During my time at the company, I updated thousands of descriptions, especially the company’s best-selling items that got the most views.

Proofreading Work — RSPure.com
I proofread all descriptions for the launch of the RSPure brand. Can’t find any typos in the descriptions? That’s because I was the sole proofreader for the site when it launched in October 2022!
